Thermoformable insoles

Thermoformable insolesThe family of the thermoformable insoles covers the manufacturing of a wide range of products from the mechanical orthopaedic insoles to the postural and proprioceptive sole.

To produce this line of insoles we only use thermoformable synthetic materials belonging to chemical groups such as:

  • POROFORM (E.V.A. Ethyl Vinyl Acetate);
  • MAXIFOAM (closed cell polyethylene foams);
  • COMFORT FOAM (open cell rubber with 100% memory);
  • Thermoreactive resins in TNT (Tissue Not Tissue) and thermoplatic in tissue.

Normally the thermoformed insole is made of three main components:

  • Sole: this is the first layer, which is directly in contact with the foot,
  • Strenghtening: it is the resin material very resistant which straightens the insole and it is to be put between the sole and the base,
  • Base: it is the layer of material, usually with an high-density and a middle thickness (7mm.), which is to be worked out according to the request.

Other added workings consist in the sole coating made of microfiber (LEDRA) or leather or COMFORT FOAM either for diabetic or for geriatric foot or even for the sportman’s foot.

The productive process is gained by means of moulds (forms) properly designed in order to manufacture insoles for different foot pathologies such as (flat feet, bump feet, with back bar for metatarsus desease, hollow feet, calcaneus spina etc.), according to the age (kid, adult) and the sex (man, woman).
