Materials for solesMAXIFOAM represent 80% of the use in orthopedy in the creation of insoles from plaster mould. The range of MAXIFOAM, expanded polyethylene + E.V.A. with a closed cells structure, is composed of plates in different colours, perforated or smooth, having different thicknesses from 2 to 5 mm.

The characteristics of MAXIFOAM range are:

  • STRUCTURE: POLYETHYLENE FOAM + ETHYL-VYNIL-ACETATE (E.V.A.), with closed cells. Density= about 140 kg/mc. Hardness= about 40° SHORE A.
  • USE: pediatric, geriatric and Sports insoles. Prosthesis coating too.
  • CHARACTERISTICS: resistant to dampness and sweat. Anallergic and non toxic. Resistant to abrasion. It doesn’t fade. Dry to the touch. Soft and velvety in the cold too. Light, good memory.
  • WORKABILITY: thermomouldable at about 110-130°C. Preheating time: from 30 to 60 sec. Workable by the grinder. It is advisable to use ventilated hovens. Easy to stick. Workable on the mould through heat.

The application field of MAXIFOAM range is wide : pediatric, geriatric, adult and sportsmen insoles.
