Comfort materials

Within our range of materials for insoles there are also specifical materials for the comfort, the diabetic foot and the sport.

The range is called COMFORT-FOAM and it is composed of: ABS comfort, CLIMA comfort, DMF comfort and DUAL-LAYER comfort.

COMFORTFOAM ABS

• Long-lasting material, soft and comfortable, excellent shock-absorber.
• Closed-cell material.
• Chemical formula: NBR elastomer (Nitrile Rubber) with high memory.
• It is thermoformable only when coupled with thermoformable materials.

Application fields : to be used as shock-absorber for sport ortheses and unload aimed at reducing the micro-trauma on metatarsal heads and heel.

COMFORTFOAM CLIMA

• High comfort for feet and shoes duration.
• Open-cell material, really perspiring.
• It doesn’t need any drilling.
• Chemical formula: SBR copolymer alloy (Styrene Rubber) with high memory.
• It is thermoformable only when coupled with thermoformable materials.

Application fields: suitable for all comfort applications.

COMFORTFOAM DMF

• Acronym of Deep Memory Foam, it is an excellent load/pressure reducer.
• Open-cell material, really perspiring.
• It doesn’t need any drilling.
• Slow return memory.
• Chemical formula: SBR copolymer alloy (Styrene Rubber) with slow memory.
• It is thermoformable only when coupled with thermoformable materials.

Application fields : 3mm is the ideal thickness for producing an unload for metatarsalgy and aching feet, 6mm is ideal for palliative ortheses for diabetic, rheumatoid feet, etc.

COMFORTFOAM DUAL LAYER

• Coupling of CLIMA + DMF (1,5mm+3mm), it is an excellent double-layer pressure reducer.
• It associates the slow return memory (DMF) with high memory (CLIMA)
• Open-cell material, really perspiring.
• Chemical formula: SBR copolymer alloy (Styrene Rubber) with high and slow return memory.

Application fields : the same as DMF and CLIMA
